Henry of Bracton's Thirteenth Century work, originally titled De Legibus Et Consuetudinibus Angliae, has been made available by Harvard University's Ames Foundation and Law Library, and Cornell University's Legal Information Institute. This work is an attempt to describe English law based on "the combination of Roman and canon law that was taught in the universities in Bracton's time." It can be browsed or searched in either English or Latin, or accessed via a "Calendar" (table of contents). Both framed and unframed versions are available, with the framed version allowing for simultaneous viewing of the Latin and English texts. The Latin text of this version was provided by George Woodbine; the work was translated by S.E. Thorne.
