A cooperative effort from three companies, Parliament Live allows users to view a live broadcast of the UK Parliament (when in session) and keyword search archived video footage. A link to the live broadcast is provided on the main page and may be viewed in RealPlayer or Windows Media Player format. The video search engine uses the Virage platform and may be searched by keyword and party, event, and speaker. The returns begin at the point where the search term appears, though viewers can begin at other points in the clip using a pull-down transcript. Users may also email the selected clips.
