The 1999-2000 annual report from the Oriental Institute offers insight into both the activities of the Institute and some of the newer developments in archaeology and philology. The report is composed of four main sections (Archaeology, Philology, Research, and Museum), each of which contains a number of reports on specific projects, some including illustrations. Although probably most useful to professionals, anyone with an interest in archaeology or philology will find items of interest in this report.
