This new, UK-based, moderated mailing list serves as a forum for discussions on population displacements in 20th-century European history, "and to explore the inter-relationship of forced migration/resettlement/repatriation with nationalism, state formation and the construction of social identities." While the moderators believe that most of the subscribers will be involved in migration studies, history, geography, demography, and anthropology or sociology, scholars from other fields and different geographical and historical time periods are most welcome.
