The SEER (Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results) Program of the National Cancer Institute has recently developed CANQUES (Cancer Query System) on the Web, 1973-1995. CANQUES is an interactive data system with a Java interface that allows users to access over 10 million pre-calculated cancer statistics. Users may select among twelve statistical topic areas, define customized queries, and retrieve selected data on incidence, mortality, and survival for most types of human cancer. Note: To access CANQUES, users must have a browser that supports Java 1.1.
