Regional Trade Agreements and US Agriculture analyzes the "trade-creating" and "trade-diverting" impacts of US participation in regional trade agreements (RTAs). Twelve chapters cover the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum, and the US-Israel Free Trade Agreement, among other RTAs. Arguments are made that increased US participation benefits US agriculture but could hurt non-member trade participants.
