While Science Friday started as a show on public radio stations around the country in 1991, it has since expanded in a number of exciting directions, from digital videos to original web content. The Educate section of the Science Friday website is a boon to teachers, as well as learners of all ages. The informative articles, which are updated two or three times a month, have been sorted into subjects that include Chemistry, Earth Science, Engineering and Technology, Life Science, Mathematics, and Physical Science. The content is always fresh and entertaining, and the punchy prose is sure to keep students' attention. Also of note, each Lesson Plan is accompanied by Target Grade levels and estimated time, as well as an Educator Toolbox (at the bottom of each page), that provides easy access to downloadable material.
