The US Department of Education's NCES has released The Condition of Education 1998, an annual compendium of about 60 indicators in six major areas including access and participation, economic outcomes, and financial and human resources. These tabular and graphic indicators are gleaned from various surveys and publications both inside and outside of the Department of Education. Currency of the data varies by indicator.
