Started in 2010, Change the Equation is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, CEO-led initiative designed to mobile the business community to improve the quality of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) learning in the United States. The group's stated goals include working to increase the impact of corporate philanthropy and working to "capture the imagination of young people." On the site, visitors can look through the STEMistics area, along with the Igniting Learning and News & Events sections. STEMistics section includes some basic facts on the importance of STEM-related fields and some data on the people working in these fields.
