This question is one of the many questions answered by this very interesting and rather fun Shared Heritage Travel Itinerary created by the National Park Service's Heritage Education Services, with cooperation from the National Park Service Office of Tourism and other associations. The itinerary covers places that have been important to the lives of 43 presidents of the United States, and visitors can read descriptions of each place via the "List of Sites" area.
