The mission of NOAA's Office of Response and Restoration includes providing "scientific and technical support to prepare for and respond to oil and chemical releases", along with working to protect and restore marine and coastal ecosystems. Within each area, visitors can read fact sheets, check out technical reports, and also learn about the Office's current readiness plans. Overall, this site is a fine resource for anyone involved in emergency response strategies or fields related to oceanography.
