Concentrating Solar Power Program

This information resource related to renewable energy has recently been made available by the US Department of Energy. The Concentrating Solar Power Program is researching solar thermal technologies in order to provide future energy, economic, and environmental security for the US. This site provides an overview of the program, the program's strategic plan, and an analysis of the three technologies being researched: the power tower, dish/engine, and parabolic trough systems. Cost and performance analysis results for each technology are included (Adobe Acrobat [.pdf] format only).
