The Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence project at Berkeley is one of the most interesting ways of searching for signs of intelligent life throughout the universe. By the use of this free screensaver, users will be assisting in the processing of data collected at the Arecibo radio telescope in Puerto Rico. When users aren't using their terminals, the computer will essentially be examining small pieces of data and reporting the results back to the SETI project directors. The SETI screensaver is compatible with all systems running Mac OS 9.0 and higher.
