Families USA is the consumer voice for health care offering articles and reports on health care, politics, reform, Medicare and Medicaid, and other health care issues for women, senior citizens, and lower-income people. Families USA is a national nonprofit organization and advocates high-quality, affordable health and long term care for all Americans. They work at the national, state, and grassroots levels with organizations and individuals to help them participate constructively in shaping health care policies in the public and private sectors. Families USA issues reports and analyses, and works extensively through a variety of media, to educate the public, opinion leaders, and policymakers about problems consumers experience in the health care marketplace and what should be done to solve them.
