A joint project of The Textile Museum, Washington, and The Math Forum (formerly of Swarthmore College), this site examines the ideas of pattern and symmetry in Oriental carpets. Users can also learn about the production of Oriental carpets and view a gallery of 28 carpets with descriptions.
