The site is divided into three sections -- Beginnings, Young Artist, and Over the Line -- and covers the period between 1917 (the year of his birth) to 2000 (the year of his death). The site also contains suggested classroom activities, discussion questions, teaching strategies, and recommended books in the areas of social studies, language arts, math, science, and visual arts.
