This site from the Canada's Library of Parliament is an excellent resource for students and scholars of Canadian political history. Using the site, visitors can access information on all of the federal election candidates since Confederation in 1867. Visitors can search by riding (constituency), name of a candidate, political party, general election, and by-election, or conduct a full-text search on the description of a riding. Clicking on the name of a riding calls up its complete history.
