The report finds that while "the booming national economy and the growth of high-tech jobs have helped reverse decades of decline in America's cities," the "digital divide" continues to make itself felt as the number of high-tech jobs is growing 30 percent faster in the suburbs than urban areas. In addition, housing prices have risen at twice the rate of inflation, worsening an affordable housing shortage.
