This online dictionary, newly updated, provides a glossary of over 1,800 terms related to library and information sciences, with an emphasis on online library science. Once a handout for author Joan Reitz's undergraduate students in library sciences at Western Connecticut State University, the dictionary has expanded over the years to its present substantial HTML incarnation. The entries are well written and professional and should be of use to students, librarians, and even those patrons who are tired of being intimidated by not knowing what exactly "Boolean" or "MARC" mean.
