Since its founding in 1966, the Oberlin College Archives has been gathering a "vast and varied collection of rare, original, and reproduced materials in printed, electronic, and digitized formats." While most of the materials here are related to Oberlin as an institution, there is plenty for the average reader to admire and explore. For instance, the Virtual Exhibit on the Architecture of Oberlin College provides an overview of the campus's past and present buildings and monuments, including photographs, illustrations, and descriptive information. The Browse Buildings section is especially interesting. Here readers may select any of the buildings from the alphabetically ordered list to view photographs and fascinating descriptions of the college's architectural heritage.
