Money Income in the United States: 1998 (Press release)

This press release from the US Census Bureau announces that the number of Americans living under the poverty level dropped to 12.7 percent in 1998. This marks the fourth year in a row in which the median household income has risen. The reports, Money Income in the United States: 1998 and Poverty in the United States: 1998 break the data down demographically and highlight some of the more inclusive findings.
