This UK based quarterly refereed journal concentrates on "theoretical, empirical and methodological discussions." Articles are organized chronologically by issue, and recently SSR has also begun to arrange them thematically, in an attempt to foster online scholarly debate. In addition, SSR provides a Pinboard section, which contains conferences and calls for papers, a bulletin board, and a reports section where interested users are encouraged to file short reports summarizing conferences attended.
