The University of Waterloo: Astrophysics and Gravitation

The University of Waterloo's astrophysics and gravitation group studies the origin and fate of the Universe, the nature of dark matter, black hole dynamics and thermodynamics, the unification of general relativity and quantum mechanics and other fundamental physics problems. The web site provides a link to the faculty, where users can discover more about their specific research interests. By clicking on the ever-changing Picture of the Moment on the home page, users can find information on the phenomenon presented. Researchers can learn about the observatory, telescopes, and equipment used by the group. Students and educators can find out about the group's many talks and seminars.
