Released in June 2003, this report from the FCC outlines several statistics about the growth of high-speed Internet subscribers as of December 31, 2002. The report breaks down the data by technology (i.e. DSL, cable modem, etc.), by type of user, by state, and several other factors. Nationwide, it is shown that "subscribership to high-speed services increased by 23% during the second half of 2002, to a total of 19.9 million lines."
