1997 Economic Census of Outlying Areas: Guam Construction Industries, Manufactures, Wholesale Trade, Retail Trade and Service Industries

This 42-page document reports that Guam's economy is booming. Tourism has helped boost the retail economy, with trade retail industries in 1997 up 65 percent from 1992, and service industry receipts increased from $656.4 million to $1.2 billion, showing an 81 percent increase.
