Created by Professor Al Filreis as an accompaniment to his course at the University of Pennsylvania, this site is valuable both as a teaching resource and as an excellent collection of 1950s literature and iconography. Filreis's wide-ranging assortment of readings from the 1950s, arranged alphabetically, is an excellent peek into the culture and mentality of the period.
