Digital Gilded Age

The Documenting the Gilded Age digital collection makes available historical resources from the Frick Art Reference Library, the Brooklyn Museum Libraries and Archives, and the William Randolph Hearst Archive at Long Island University, Post campus. Created in phases from 2011 through 2015, the collection was made possible by four separate grant awards from the Metropolitan Library Council of New York’s Digital Metro New York initiative. Online exhibitions from each phase augment and highlight information in the historical documents, which are made available in Arcade.
