The Experts Say section includes a discussion by a lead meteorologist with the Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Oklahoma that covers "how he 'storm chases' and shares the biggest tornado he's ever seen, the closest he's ever been to one, how many he sees in a year, and why it seems like there's more tornadoes today than in past years." The Experiments section include a slide show and instructions for how students can create their own 'tornado' in a jar. The activity guide is geared toward students from grades three through eight.
